June 2018 Newsletter
Due to technical issues, June meeting minutes cannot be produced at this time. Here is a summary of items covered at the meeting.
- Because of health and personal reasons, Janice has resigned as Secretary and Ann Wicks was voted into that position. I, as well as all members, thank Janice for her years of service as Secretary and we look forward to continuing to see her at the meetings. Thanks to Ann for agreeing to take over these duties.
- The next outing is scheduled for August 3rd and 4th at Lucky Strike. Folks who have been to Vein Mountain have indicated that Lucky Strike is really on the gold. Lets have a great turnout and really bring home the gold.
- It was voted to have the Christmas party on December 8th at The Villages. Chris Maggio is making arrangements to rent one of their club rooms for $35.00 per hour (estimate of use is for 3-4 hours). Thanks Chris for coordinating this.
- At the June meeting, we voted not to purchase a table at the October Gold Show in Georgia. Since then, I have been contacted by GPAA with other options than having to purchase a table. This will be discussed at the July meeting.
SATURDAY, JULY 15TH IS OUR JULY MEETING. HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE!
